- Beth Anne.

You are a writer.
Period.

You are a writer because that idea to write lives in you. If you were not capable, you would not have the urge, itch, thought, desire to write.

Period.

So now the real question becomes . . .

What the hell are you going to do about it?

Hey there, I’m Jill

A multiple best-selling author you've never heard of, because I’ve enJOYed hiding in plain sight.

I've written more than 44 of books under pen names, and over 20 ghostwritten for others—some high-profile, red carpet walking individuals.

But at heart, I’m a small town girl who discovered that writing stories was better than simply telling them to my non-reactionary stuffed animals. Written stories that could be shared again and again and again. And I’ll clue you in on a little secret...

I sucked at school, didn't read until age 9, and never really got grammar.
(To this day I can’t explain what a predicate does or is.)

But what I can do—is write in such a way that captivates the reader, draws them in, and leaves them satisfied . . .yet forever wanting more. Telling stories literally became my drug of choice. And helping others do the same, a close second. So by age 12, I made a choice—and that word is key.

To be a writer.

And so I was.

Now, after just turning 50—

yep, and not ashamed or afraid to admit it.

I can look back at the library of books I’ve written—and simply smile.

Yes, telling stories can pay.

Yes, writers can make bank.

I share all this to simply say I’ve been there. And I got through it.

Through rejection letters, even after selling my first book.

Through discussions with editors who loved my work—

but wanted to change literally everything.

Through pressing deadlines, my self-imposed fears of wondering if I even had anything left to say, to share, to write.

Above I share that I write 2,500 words each and every morning, no less than five days a week.

Those are simply my morning words—not words for a book, a client, a paycheck.

While I’m not saying you must do that too.

Because I took the time. Because I chose to make writing a priority in my life over just about everything else.

I’m sharing that tid-bit because it opened the door to mastery.

Mastery I’d like you to be able to access, consume and implement with ease.
